Finally, they released one that we wouldn’t mind getting!
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 390th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will talk about one newest Gunpla release announcement that we here find to be quite fascinating.
Why?
Well, it’s because this new Gunpla release announcement is from a source that we all didn’t expect, The Gundam Factory.
So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?
No Grade 1/144 RX-78FOO HMT Gundam High Mobility Type (No Grade)

What an unexpected surprise this is!
Even though we admit that in this day and age, we are not surprised to see Bandai still finding new ways to milk the original Gundam design, but honestly, we really didn’t expect them to be milking this version of the Gundam.
Why? Well, that is because we do not think that the Gundam Factory variant is received well by most in the community. Even we here are not fans of the original iteration of the Gundam Factory version.
But we are not saying that this version doesn’t have people that are fans of it. In fact, we believe it is thanks to their continuous support of it that we get to see this version of the Gundam Factory variant seeing the light of day and successfully turning non-fans into fans of this MS design.

The funny thing is they really didn’t change anything much to the base design of the Gundam Factory variant because it still retains a lot of bits that made us not all that keen on it in the first place.
But the changes made were enough to help us reconsider our stance on it. So what is new here, you ask? Well, Bandai made changes to the overall color scheme (It is getting the Real Type-ish color scheme treatment), and Bandai even gave it a new backpack unit. They even went as far as to let it have another beam rifle unit, an additional removable armor piece for the chest unit, and its leg unit! Yes, you do get a lot of Gunpla here!
Honestly, we’d think this does make for a compelling reconsideration from our end. Yes, we might not like the original variant of the Gundam Factory variant, but this upgrade does redeem it in our eyes.

So, if we see this version, we will definitely get it.
And that concludes our 390th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. Finally, Bandai released the Gundam Factory variant that we all wouldn’t mind getting! Plus, it is nice to see some badass Gunpla announced after a week of lack of new Gunpla updates.
