Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.393

Maybe this time, they will be able to beat Goku up.

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 393rd edition of today’s Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be looking at P-Bandai’s latest Gunpla release announcement! Interestingly we’ll learn about the HGUC Red Giant 3rd MS team set that we have been waiting for some time to learn about here.

So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?

HG 1/144 Mobile Suit Gundam Red Giant 3rd MS Team Set (HGUC)

Release Date: September 2022
Estimated price: JPY 6,050 (MYR RM 194.68* / USD $ 44.25* / EUR € 42.07*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

It’s nice that after a long wait, we’d finally see P-Bandai reveal this set’s release date to the world. We were worried that we might not get this kit released this year.

But why are we so excited about this kit when it is clear that this is just a recolored HGUC Revive RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type and HGUC Revive RX-79[G] GM Ground Type?

Well, because, to be honest?

We can see that they did a lot of things right here. For one, even though you are getting three mildly modified versions of the HGUC Revive RX-79 [G] Gundam Ground Type and RX-79 [G] GM Ground Type, not all of them look the same.

Because in this set, you get an RX-79[G] RR Gundam RR, which looked like a badass version of the Astrea, and two RX-79[G] RR GM RR, which come with a pretty dope armored head unit and badass-looking weapons.

Not to mention, you are getting a lot of weapons and new equipment set for these three kits here too!

Secondly, you also get a beautiful color scheme on these HGUC kits! Honestly, we believe Bandai and the MS designers did a pretty good job with the color scheme set they go for these kits. Plus, it is clear to us that it looks like we might not have to do a lot of paintworks here to make it look as close to the promotional materials.

We are not implying that there isn’t work needed to get done here. But at the very least, you don’t have to do a lot of paintworks here.

Despite this being a P-Bandai HGUC kit set, we don’t mind getting this since all of them come in one box set. Yes, it’ll be expensive, but we feel it’ll be worth it.

At least we can have all of them on one go instead of hunting for them one by one.

And that concludes our 393rd edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. After going through a week of a boring news week, it’s nice to finally see some new details on the upcoming kit that we all here are looking forward to getting.

Yes, it is unfortunate that the piece of good news that we are talking about here is coming from the P-Bandai side. Hopefully, the retail side will have something new and exciting that we’re looking forward to seeing more of here.

Anyways, we’ll be back again next week (hopefully) with a new blog post! Why no new post this Saturday? Well, that is because Kimi will be taking a weekend birthday off. So, please do look forward to that!

Oh, one more thing before we go, it would be a tremendous help to us all here in the blog if you guys were to leave a like on our posts and subscribe to the blog if you find yourselves enjoying our gunpla/plamo related posts.
