AU Zaku Goodness
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 398th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will continue where we left off last week with the HGTWFM Retail releases news. However, this time we will focus on some more kits from the main series.
So, without further ado! Let us into it, shall we?
HG 1/144 Dilanza (HGTWFM)

Release Date: November 2022 (revised)[Original Release Date: October 2022]
Estimated price: JPY 1,760 (MYR RM 56.52* / USD $ 12.72* / EUR € 12.63*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

As typical as it is, we shall start this post by talking about the MS that is the Witch From Mercury’s version of the Zaku. Yes, we are going to talk about the HGTWFM Dilanza.
Honestly? We here think that this might be one of the best versions that we’ve seen by far. We’d even go as far as to say that the HGTWFM Dilanza might be the best-looking Alternate Universe’s Zaku variants (Well, we think this is this AU’s Zaku?) we have seen after the SEED Destiny’s Zaku Warrior.
Admittedly, we might not have seen it in action yet to gauge its badassery. But we here already find ourselves drawn to how badass it looked.

So, great Job to Sunrise and Bandai for this badass MS design.
But enough of what we think of its looks. Let us focus more on this upcoming HGTWFM kit, shall we?
Even though we are a fan of how badass it looked, we admit that we are a little bit unsure of how stable this kit would be out of the box.
Why?
Well, we’re concerned about the size of its feet unit and the size of the HGTWFM Dilanza itself. Yes, it may seem stable in its promotional materials here, but it might not be in real-life situations, especially for those not planning to invest in an Action Base.

But then again, we first have to build this for ourselves and see if that is the case here. We hope that Bandai proves us wrong as soon as we work on this for ourselves.
But despite our reservations about its stability, we admit that we are a fan of everything else about this HGTWFM release.
For one, we like how the armor pieces move around to allow for a broad range of articulation for the HGTWFM Dilanza. We also like that the HGTWFM Dilanza comes with optional parts, so you can easily convert it into any version of HGTWFM Dilanza that you want.

We reckon we’ll see more optional parts for the HGTWFM Dilanza soon as the anime airs.
Overall we’d say this is looking like a pretty promising release.
HG 1/144 Guel’s Dilanza (HGTWFM)

Release Date: October 2022
Estimated price: JPY 1,760 (MYR RM 56.52* / USD $ 12.72* / EUR € 12.63*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

As expected from any Gundam series, we will get one machine made for the main antagonist (or protagonist). We can only assume this machine is made for the main antagonist since the anime has not yet aired. For now, all we can really do is speculate.
But even with that said, we here find the design of this Gunpla to be one fascinating MS design.
Yes, it does have all the same traits as the Standard HGTWFM Dilanza, but what sets this one apart from the standard release is its bladed back, color scheme, and very tacky feather headpiece.

Oh, another thing we like about this HGTWFM Guan’s Dilanza variant? It’s one badass beam lance. Oh, yes, we are excited to have our hands on that one for sure!
And just like its standard variant, you can tell that we are excited for this one too.
HG 1/144 Darilbalde (HGTWFM)

Release Date: December 2022
Estimated price: JPY 2,090 (MYR RM 67.12* / USD $ 15.10* / EUR € 15.00*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Oh, speaking of red-colored suits, there is this too.
At first, when we saw this, oh cool! Another HGTWFM Dilanza variant, we thought. But after we took a closer look at this, we realized this isn’t another Char-ish Dilanza variant. We realized that this is a different MS design altogether!
Look-wise it has some design characteristics that remind us of the HGTWFM Dilanza, but the rest? Well, it looked like it combined the designs of MS from the UC (specifically from the Zeta Gundam period) and IBO here.

More specifically, it looked like a combination of the Byarlant, Kampfer, MK-V, Grimgerde, and the Guision combined into one.
Very cool MS design this. Which, in turn, makes for a badass-looking Gunpla as well!
Besides its badass design, we like how well articulated the HGTWFM Darilbalde limbs are here. But then again, it has fewer and smaller armor parts on its waist and leg unit that would limit its articulation, unlike the HGTWFM Dilanza.

Oh, not to mention, it has a lot of very cool weapons too! One that we can’t wait to get our hands on!
And yes, this is definitely one of those kits we’re looking forward to getting as soon as it hits our shores this coming December!

And that concludes our 398th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. There are still a lot of kits that are left to talk about here. More specifically, we still have another three MS designs that we are really looking forward to covering!
So look forward to this Saturday (hopefully) with a new blog post, where we will continue where we left off!
