Clear wings
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 409th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla post, we will look at The Gundam Base Limited’s latest Gunpla release announcement! This week The Gundam Base chaps decided to release a clear-colored kit to commemorate the release of the HGAC Shenlong Gundam! So what kit is the one getting the clear-colored treatment? Well, let us find out!
So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?
HG 1/144 XXXG-01W Wing Gundam (HGAC)

Release Date: 10th September 2022
Estimated price: JPY 1,650 (MYR RM 52.50* / USD $ 11.73* / EUR € 11.82*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation
We think this is a nice gesture from The Gundam Base Limited chaps that they decided to commemorate the release of the HGAC Shenlong Gundam with the release of the clear-colored version of the HGAC Wing Gundam.
What makes the whole thing even better for the HGAC Shenlong Gundam Commemoration is that The Gundam Base Limited made the clear-colored HGAC Wing look good. But then again, this isn’t something that we feel requires much effort from The Gundam Base Limited to make since they already have the base made by the retail side.
But we still commend The Gundam Base Limited side for doing so regardless.
Why do we say this?

From what we can see, it does look like The Gundam Base Limited got all the colored clear bits right here. It looked so good that if you put it right next to the standard version, it would look like a mirage of the Wing Gundam. Not like a mess made with cheap plastic.
But the best part of this Gundam Base Limited exclusive kit is how the HGAC Wing Gundam beam rifle looked. Yes, it might not be in the see-through color, but it looked so good (color-wise) that we can forgive it.
Frankly, we felt that this is one of those HGAC kits that we imagine would excite the regular and hardcore Gundam Wing fans. Although, we do admit that even nonfans like us here find this version of the HGAC Wing Gundam quite attractive. Heck, we won’t be surprised if we end up getting one for ourselves.

It looked that good!
And that concludes our 409th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. Admittedly, it has been quite a slow Gunpla news week. But we reckon that Bandai might have something big in store for us.
We don’t know what it is yet, but we hope that Bandai finally reveals what MG Ver. Ka kit that they have in store for us all.
Anyways, we’ll be back again this Thursday (hopefully) with a new blog post. So, please do look forward to that!
