Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.412

I wonder what mg Ver.Ka, we’ll get this time?

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 412th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be doing something completely different than what we usually do here. Yes, we’re going to talk about Gunpla, of course, but instead, we’re speculating on what we think would be the upcoming release.

And we’re going to do a poll and see if you guys agree with our assessment.

So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?

Rumor Mill: Upcoming MG Ver.Ka Release speculation!

Yes, as you can see, we are getting close to the reveal of a new MG Ver.Ka kit. So far, we haven’t seen any prototype or leaks online on this MG kit. So all we can do here is to speculate what new MG Ver.Ka that we’ll be getting next year.

However, it’s not to say that we don’t have any idea of what they might have in store because historically, we know that Hajime Katoki LOVES redesigning the UC and Wing MS designs, so we are not surprised if the new one would be a new UC or Wing based kit. But we predict that the next upcoming MG Ver.Ka kit would be one from the last year’s Hathaway movie.

Why do we say that? Well, we think that is possible because the anime is well-received by the public, plus the HGUC kits Bandai has released from the Hathaway movie are selling quite well too. So we are not surprised if the next MG Ver.Ka would be either the Penelope Gundam or the Xi Gundam.

But at the same time, we wonder if Katoki Hajime would consider doing something out of the norm, like releasing an MS design from the SEED series. More specifically, giving the Destiny Gundam the MG Ver.Ka treatment. We know that would be highly unlikely if we see Katoki Hajime go for that, but one can only hope.

But truth to be told, we have a nagging feeling that the upcoming kit would be another new Gundam variant. Well, we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the Origins version of the Gundam getting that Ver.Ka treatment, or better yet, give the new one some Ver.Ka Version 2.0 treatment.

Whatever it is, we shall see what they have in store for us when the reveals hit us on the 29th!

But before we go, we put in a poll for you to join! We want to see by using polls to know what you think would be the more probable MG Ver.Ka that we’ll see revealed.

And if you have an idea of what you think the next MG Ver.Ka is, do write your comment below with your thoughts on what you expect to see in the upcoming reveal!

And that concludes our 412th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. Yes, admittedly, we’re going through a relatively quiet news week. But it does look like things are about to change!

We do hope the upcoming MG Ver.Ka will be a kit that would blow our minds, or it could be the one that makes us all go, “aw shit, here we go again.”

Anyways, we’ll be back again this coming Saturday (hopefully) with a new blog post. So, please do look forward to that!
