The Plamo/Gunpla event that we are most looking forward to
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 414th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will discuss our expectations of an upcoming Plamo event in Japan. Yes, it’s another slow Gunpla news week, but we won’t be surprised if we’ll be busy next week.
So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?
All Japan Mode & Hobby Show 2022

Event date: 01st till the 2nd October 2022
Yes, the Japanese Plamo event of the year finally has a date! Although, as the name of this segment suggests, we are not here to speculate about what plamo kits we are going to see in this event. Instead, we’re mostly going to discuss what Gunplas we are looking forward to seeing more of, or better yet, theorize about a new kit revealed in this event!
So, let us start with the first thing we think we’ll see at this event!
The reveal of the MG Ver.Ka

This one is a no-brainer, really.
Bandai already made that announcement that they would reveal the new MG Ver.Ka to the world next week (Specifically on the 30th), so we expect to see the prototype of the MG Ver.Ka’s mold at the All Japan Model & Hobby show.
We have not yet known what MS design Katoki Hajime would go for, but we’re hoping they’ll decide to make the Penelope or the Xi to MG Ver.Ka kits.
Or maybe it’ll be a new Gundam Ver.Ka Ver. 2.0.
A more detailed look at the upcoming HG The Witch From Mercury kits or the reveal of more new MS designs from the series

Definitely, we’ll see more of the other upcoming HGTWFM kits in more detail. Also, we hope to learn more about the incoming releases. Well, we’re hoping we’ll get to know more about the Pharact and the Michaelis at this event. Honestly? We don’t think we’ll learn more of them then, but one can always hope, eh?
But besides those two, we hope that Bandai shows us more new MS designs, or better yet, we’ll be praying to get more badass expansion sets for the upcoming kits.
Although, the thing that we are looking forward to most is seeing more awesome The Witch From Mercury MS designs. Better yet, seeing them in Gunpla form.
More P-Bandai MG F90’s Mission Packs. More MG Eclipse expansion and hope for an MG Silver Bullet

We know that P-Bandai will be there to reveal badass exclusive kits. But honestly, we’re hoping they’ll continue where they left off with the MG F90’S Mission Packs and give us more MG SEED Eclipse expansion parts and Gunpla releases.
Speaking of the new P-Bandai Gunpla release, we wonder if we’ll see P-Bandai announce the MG Silver Bullet or the Doven Wolf. Especially when they already have the MG MK-V to base the upcoming kit on.
We hope to see the retail side making that announcement instead of P-Bandai. Especially if they’re planning to release the MG Doven Wolf, that is one that we hope gets the retail release more than anything.
Regardless, we’re hoping to see something interesting at the upcoming event from both the P-Bandai and the retail side.
And that concludes our 414th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment for today. Yes, it is frustrating going another week without any significant Gunpla releases. But we know we’ll be busy covering all the new releases by next week.
Anyways, we’ll be back again this coming Saturday (hopefully) with a new blog post. So, please do look forward to that!
