Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.489

No Manual? No problem!

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 489th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we’ll take the time to discuss Bandai’s recent move to make life easier for the Gunpla builders. A move that we can see would help those unfortunate enough to have lost their instruction manuals.

So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?

Instruction Manual Website Database

Admittedly, we are happy to see Bandai finally got on their butts to make this happen. For one, having a Gunpla Instruction Manual online database makes life easy for those builders unfortunate enough to have lost their Gunpla instruction manuals in some unfortunate incident.

Secondly, it makes it easy for those still on the fence about getting any Gunpla they’re interested in to see what to expect when getting the Gunpla they wanted. Also, it’s good that we finally have a place to get a better insight into how far Bandai has evolved by just going through all the manuals.

But is this Manual database website complete?

From what we investigated, only the retail releases manual is one we can access here on this website, and the oldest manuals we could access here were from 1995. Also, we found that we only could access specific manuals from the MG, PG, and HGUC series from 1995 onwards. Unfortunately, we can’t find manuals from the no-grade kits and the 1/100 HG series they released during this period.

So no, it’s not complete.

But we hope that Bandai will update more in the future with more old Gunpla manuals. We’re looking forward to that! So, if you so happen to lose your Retail Gunpla Instruction manual, you can head to this website here

And that concludes our 489th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. Admittedly, it has been quite a slow news week. We are sad that there isn’t any new Gunpla news, nothing new to look forward to in the coming months.

But that gives us time to talk about things we didn’t manage to cover due to the amount of new stuff Bandai announced like these. If things remain as is, there is one more thing that we’re looking forward to discussing with you guys here, so let’s hope that the lack of new Gunpla news remains as is for now.

Anyways, we’ll be back next Saturday (hopefully) with a new blog post. So, do look forward to it!

Oh, one more thing before we go, it would be a tremendous help to us all here in the blog if you guys were to leave a like on our posts and subscribe to the blog if you find yourselves enjoying our gunpla/plamo-related posts. We would appreciate it if you guys would take the time to show your support by leaving an upvote on our R/Gunpla posts and by leaving a like on our Facebook and Instagram posts or pages!

We are also open to good and bad feedback, so feel free to write away.

Hopefully, by sharing our love and passion for building and writing about gunplas or other plamos here, we sincerely hope this post will inspire all of you to pick up on the hobby. Or better yet, reignite your love and passion for the hobby.

We shall see all of you again soon, and we hope all of you here have a splendid day and week ahead! Oh, before we go, please have an excellent time building your awesome gunplas there and until next time.

Ciao!
