The Z’gok of my dreams
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 546th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we’ll continue where we left off with the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2024 Gunpla reveals and cover another two kits that we’re looking forward to getting.
And worry not; there is also a discussion about the SEED kits this time.
So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?
MGSD XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver. (MGSD)

Release Date: November 2024
Estimated price: TBC
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation
Even though we haven’t received any new MG (or MGEX) news, it’s nice to know that Bandai hasn’t given up on releasing new MGSD kits. However, we suspect Bandai is probably just using this line to justify re-releasing the same popular MS designs.
That is why we’re not surprised to see Bandai pivoting its focus to new MGSD releases instead of regular MG releases. Plus, seeing how the MGSD kits are selling might have helped to encourage Bandai to keep at it.

But even with that said, we admit it is okay because the MGSD kits have been quite the banger. We’ve been getting hit after hit with the MGSD lineup so far, and to be honest? When we saw this news, we didn’t mind it.
Why? Well, it’s because this looks like it will also be a banger.
Since we have yet to receive any details on the upcoming MGSD Wing Gundam Zero EW besides what we see here, we want to avoid speculating for now.

But if we can speculate one thing from what we can see here, Bandai succeeded in delivering an insane level of detail for both the inner and outer frame of the MGSD Wing Gundam Zero EW.
Of course, this would be a kit we’re looking forward to getting this year.
HG 1/144 ZGMF-MM07 Z’gok (Tentative) (HGCE)

Release Date: TBC
Estimated price: TBC
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation
Of course, SEED FREEDOM’S Z’gok is another one that we are most excited about. But if we’re honest? Despite how cool it was in the movie, we thought there was no way we’d get this.
Why? We thought it would be too much work for Bandai to design from the ground up, and we know how much Bandai hates doing too much work on an HG kit.
So, how much work did they need to do to recreate the SEED FREEDOM Z’gok in the HGCE form, you ask?
From what we saw in the movie, Bandai needs to find a way to design the SEED FREEDOM Z’gok in a way that makes sense, considering that it was supposed to house a whole Infinite Justice.

Even if they aren’t planning to design an HGCE Z’gok with that feature, they have to get the scaling right, at least since they have to make us believe that this Zgok could host an Infinite Justice inside its main body.
Thankfully, the prototype that Bandai showcased at the event showed us that Bandai at least got the scale right for the Z’gok; looking at it, one can believe that you could have Infinite Justice inside of it.

But we shall see when Bandai decides to reveal more about this release and whether they really include the feature to fit a whole HGCE Infinite Justice in it.
We’re looking forward to the day we learn more about this particular version of the Z’gok!
That concludes our 546th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. We planned to discuss three kits from the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2024 event, but unfortunately, Bandai released more details on one of the kits we planned to discuss today.
So, we decided to cut that part out of today’s segment. Worry not, dear readers. We will be back to continue discussing the Gunpla releases in the upcoming blog post.
Anyways.
