Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.592

Beautifully plated, there isn’t a better kit out there that deserves better.

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we’ll examine one of The Gundam Base Limited’s recent Gunpla release announcements. Yes, we know they have recently announced and released two kits from the same series, but we’ll discuss the only one we think is worth discussing here.

So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?

This is probably one of the best looking RG Sazabi variants to date

We never imagined Bandai would release another expensive RG kit so close to the end of the year, especially one that gets the coated treatment. But even with that said, if there is one kit from their library that deserves more love from Bandai, the RG Sazabi is definitely one of those kits.

But admittedly, we are surprised it took Bandai this long to finally release this version. Especially considering how they have been making reprints of it and selling them like hotcakes every time there are new reprints.

So, it was nice to have something highlighting the RG Sazabi’s best features finally.

But even with that said, so what is new here?

To be honest? You’re getting the same old RG Sazabi here. The only thing that sets this apart here is its colored-clear armor set and the unique ‘mechanical core plating inner frame parts.

Even though it might be more and less the same thing, but it is probably one of the best-looking things that we’ve seen to date.

But that is enough to convince fans of this kit to go out and get this version because honestly? Even we can see that Bandai did a splendid job here. The colored-colored armor bits and the ‘mechanical core plating’ on the inner frame bits looked fantastic. As mentioned previously, the ‘mechanical core plating’ parts made the RG Sazabi’s inner frame bits look even more awesome. But that is only made possible by this version’s colored-clear armor bits. Thanks to them, we see all the fabulous bits in its glory here.

Although we admit that the best part about the colored-clear bits of this version of the RG Sazabi is for us to see all the decals go well with the colored clear parts, however, we do wonder if the decals you’re getting here are sticker decals or waterslides.

Regardless of what decals they use here, it wouldn’t be such an issue since either decal set they decided to include here would look great on the clear parts. But, if they choose to use the sticker bits, one must put in some work to make it look good.

to see how the decals looked on this version of the RG Sazabi impresses us more to be honest.

But the best best part about this? It gives fans of this kit a reason to get another RG Sazabi, though it might be more expensive than the retail version, looking at how much Gunpla we’re getting here. It is one that most wouldn’t mind paying that much for.

And that includes us.

We a;lso wouldn’t mind getting this just to get that badass boxart

This concludes the 592nd edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. Though we are a bit late in our discussion on this already-released Gundam Base Limited’s gorgeous kit, we are still glad we got this one out, regardless.

However, we are disappointed that The Gundam Base Limited’s version of the RG v Gundam is not as good as we see here. It is one of those kits that would be better off released as an expansion instead of giving it a complete kit release.

Anyways
