In today’s 602nd edition of our Let’s Talk Gunplas segment, we will take a short shift away from our vast Gunpla release announcements discussion and talk about some recent new teasers from Bandai.

And it looks like that one April Fool’s joke is now becoming a reality.

So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?

Teaser Discussion: PGU 1/60 RX-93 v Gundam (Perfect Grade Unleashed)

The last time we saw a “teaser announcement” for the PG v Gundam, it turned out to be an April Fool’s joke. So, to ensure we wouldn’t bamboozled like the last time, we all double-checked our calendars to ensure we didn’t just sleep ourselves to April. But thankfully, we didn’t, so we decided to investigate this further. After going through the interwebs on the details, we can confirm it is not an out-of-season April Fool’s joke because we found out that Bandai didn’t just reveal the teaser announcement on their official X account this time. They also showed it at their NEXT FUTURE FINAL event.

Now, we can print this teaser announcement and hang it in our workplaces, so we finally have something tangible to look forward to.

Honestly?

What a way to revive the lineup we all believed was dead in the water.

So far, we can’t say much about this upcoming release since Bandai hasn’t shown us any samples nor provided any details about this forthcoming release.

But from what we can see from the teaser picture, it does look like (design-wise) it is getting inspiration from the Metal Structure v Gundam. If that is the case, we wouldn’t be surprised if the level of detail inside and out is similar.

Speaking of the metal structure, though we know this would be priced higher than your standard PG release (especially considering that this is a PGU kit, too), however, we do not believe Bandai would price this at the same asking price as the Metal Structure kit. We can see Bandai pricing this kit around MYR 1.5K or 2K and no higher than that.

Yes, it will still be one of the most expensive kits, but it is one that one can quickly (and easier) get their hands on without having to sacrifice their left nut for.

This concludes the 602nd edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. Finally, we are getting something good in the pipes. But PG isn’t the only one that is getting some good news. Apparently, our favorite MG line is also getting something good.

But we’ll go back to talking about the retail kits before we get to that MG Teaser discussion.
