Now, all we need from Bandai is an MG version.
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 629th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will discuss one of P-Bandai’s latest Gunpla release announcements. This time we are getting a movie kit from P-Bandai, more specifically, a new kit from the upcoming Hataway movie.
So, without further ado. Let us get into it, shall we?

Estimated price: JPY 3,740 (MYR 106.78* / USD 25.19* / EUR 21.61*)

We admit that the Hathaway movie series is the one that we all here are looking forward to the most. Even though we all already know how it ends, we still find ourselves interested in seeing how it all ends on screen.
Honestly? It’s hard not to.
For one, it had one of the best animations that we have seen to date, and secondly, it is quite interesting to see Hathaway, considered to be one of Tomino’s unfilmable works, finally getting that film treatment.
But the movie isn’t the only thing that we are interested in, because the truth is the real reason why we are so excited for this movie is that we will get more Gunplas, and it just so happens the HGUC Messer F01 was our favorite kit from this series. Even the P-Bandai version of the Messer F02 was fantastic, but granted, those were just slightly updated F01’s so if you already find the HGUC Messer F01’s fantastic, you aren’t going to find the F02’s to be any different.

But admittedly, we were hoping to get more variants of the HGUC Messer, and it seems that we are finally getting a new one from the P-Bandai side; the Minelayer version.
Admittedly, this is just the same P-Bandai kit that we got; the only difference here is that you’re getting additional stuff added to the back skirt area of the waist armor. We reckon Bandai also will be making some hard points modifications to the existing mould of the back skirt armor so you can mount the new Minelayer equipment. But even that said, we don’t think its a bad thing, considering that you are still getting something new here.
Yes, it sucks that P-Bandai is limiting its release as a P-Bandai one, but then again, it’s not at all that different from the regular F01 release. Plus, since the F02 version is already a P-Bandai kit, we suppose it makes sense to us that P-Bandai is the one releasing the F02 Minelayer version.

But yes, that is the only new thing about this release.
But even with that said, admittedly, the minelayer equipment does look kind of dope.
We just hope that we get to see more kits from this anime in the coming months.
This concludes the 629th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. Finally, we managed to catch up with most Gunpla release announcements. We hope that we’ll get to see more awesome releases in the coming weeks. But for now, we shall enjoy this quiet before the Gunpla storm.
Anyway, we will be back soon with a new blog post! So we do look forward to seeing you guys then!
Also, you might have noticed a slight change to our posts, which is because we recently added a donation tab to our posts to help keep this site running and to fund our future projects. However, we want to clarify that we will not be placing any of our content behind a paywall. All of our content will remain free for everyone to access.
The reason why we decided to add the donation tab is that after managing this blog with our funds for so long, we’ve found that even with ads, it hasn’t been enough to maintain the site without putting ourselves in debt. We have tried our best not to resort to this, since we are doing this blog for fun, and we really didn’t plan to earn money from doing this.
However, since the start of the year, we have been struggling financially to keep this site running, and we refuse to give up on it after putting so much work into it.
So that is why, for the first time after running this site for so long, we are finally asking for help from you, our readers.
If you appreciate what we do and want us to continue providing this content, we would greatly appreciate any support through donations to help keep us afloat.
