Very interesting rumors floating around on the interwebs recently

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 196th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will mostly be talking about ‘some’ of the new rumors that have been surfacing up recently on both the retail side and as well on the P-Bandai side. In which we are looking forward to writing about the recent rumors in today’s segment of our let’s Talk Gunpla segment.

So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

The Rumor Mill: RG 1/144 FA-93HWS ν Gundam Heavy Weapons System Type & FA-93 Expansion Package for the RG ν Gundam

Out of all the rumors that we heard online recently, the thing that we most interested in is the fact that we learned that P-Bandai recently made a new page on their official P-Bandai JP Webstore for the RG ν Gundam HWS kit and the HWS conversion set for the RG ν Gundam.

Although to be quite frank here, we aren’t all that surprised if P-Bandai decided to be making that announcement. Because funnily enough, we kind of expected to see this finally making its rounds as a P-Bandai announcement.

We do have a strong reason for making that assumption because P-Bandai has already made that leap before with releasing the HWS upgrade expansion for the MG Ver.K.A RX-93 ν Gundam a few years back. So yeah we are not that surprised to see P-Bandai announcing this.

However, we would admit that it was nice to see them planning to release a separate full release for those that might want to get another RG ν Gundam for them to have it posed with the HWS equipment installed right next to the normal RG ν Gundam variant. Which is something that we here would admit is very nice to see them do.

But the more we spend time talking about this RG HWS rumor, the more we start to wonder if this is just an extra armor set that you mount on the RG ν Gundam existing armor set, or is it a new armor set that you replace it with the existing one on the RG ν Gundam? This is something that we are looking forward to seeing more of when it is eventually be revealed soon.

Oh, speaking of reveals, we as well learned that there is a strong possibility that we would be hearing more of it on the upcoming May 29th (Yes, it is tomorrow apparently) Bandai Hobby’s Next Gunpla Phase event.

Looks like we are going to have quite a fun time soon enough. 

The Rumor Mill: Mystery New MG Ver.K.A

This is another story that we are as well excited to see more of in this revealed in tomorrow’s event.

We here have no clue to what MS that Bandai would have in mind to announce as the next Ver.K.A kit. But we all here are speculating that we might be seeing Bandai making that announcement of the G-Self making its way here as an MG Ver.K.A release.

Admittedly, we do understand why some people would be baffled to the G-Self getting the MG Ver.K.A treatment because we here are as well as baffled as you are. But it is hard to deny that even though, yes, the Reconguista in G is a confusing mess of a series, at the very least the MS design, especially the G-Self is in our opinion at least, one of the best MS design that we’ve seen in recent years.

We believed that there is a lot of people that felt the same way too since it did manage to top the poll that was made by Bandai for the next Ver.K.A kit back in 2017. Not to mention it would make sense to release an MG version of the G-Self too since it would be a great support to the Reconguista in G movies that have been released. So yeah it made sense for them to do so too. 

With all of that in mind, if we would see Bandai makes that MG G-Self Ver.K.A announcement tomorrow, we honestly wouldn’t be all that surprised.

However, if that is not the case, we wouldn’t mind it if they were to announce an MG Destiny Ver.K.A tomorrow. Because we all here secretly hoping that they still giving the Destiny the Ver.K.A treatment.
