Let’s talk about Gundam base Gunplas

There are quite alot of kits that was officially announced and as well we do have some kits that are getting relisted for preorder too here, so strap yourselves in, because there will be some very interesting kits that we would like to talk about.

Well not all of them, but there is still quite a number of them here that we find to be quite interesting…haha…

So, without further do let us now get into it, shall we?

This is one unpainted kit that we here wouldn’t mind leaving it as is.

We are made aware that this is not particularly new news. Because we have seen The Gundam Base side made the announcement earlier this month and it was as well have seen release on April 10th. But we reckon due to how bad the virus situation has hit Japan recently they might have decided to have it relisted on the Gundam Base site with the support from their P-Bandai online store.

However, at the same time, we here do realize that we never talked about it here, so we figured, why not take the time to do so here.

Especially when from what we can see here, that they really managed to create something, that we here think looks quite good. Seriously, even though the white/grey color scheme that they have here was meant to be painted on, but honestly? We wouldn’t mind getting this just for its awesome white/grey color scheme.

Why wouldn’t you want to get this?

Looking at it somehow made me think of both the white ogre and the Shin Matsunaga’s Custom R-1 colors. Which does make me wonder if the HGUC Shin Matsunaga’s R-1 decals would work on this kit? hmm…

Although the badass color scheme isn’t the only reason that we here find this release to be interesting. There is as well the fact that they included Meijin Kawaguchi’s step by step guide into painting your gunpla here with the kit. That is definitely something that we here think is a pretty good motivation for anyone that is just starting to dabble with painting their gunplas, to get this.

We here find it to be quite interesting to see how the great Meijin makes full use of the Gundam Markers in the tutorial that they included with the kit. We as well wonder if all of that comes with a subtitle.

This is without a doubt is one Gundam Base Limited gunpla kit that we are really looking forward to getting…if we ever make a stop at Tokyo that is. haha.

It looks so gloriously from the front…..

This is probably one of the most interesting Gundam Base limited Gunpla kits release announcements out of all the other announcements that we have seen so far. Because historically this isn’t the first time the PG Gramps got the ‘shiny’ treatment, the first time that this was attempted we got an overly shiny chrome PG kit that doesn’t look all that good.

This version, on the other hand, is the complete opposite as to the previously released Chrome version, because now the shiny PG Gramps actually looked really good here. Which we do admit is really starting to making us consider our stance in getting a shiny kit.

and the back…

As you all here were already made aware of how we here find them shiny kits to be interesting but too expensive to get, however, with this kit eventhough we know that it is really expensive, this is one of the shiny kits that we really don’t mind getting. Just because it just looks so good.

Seriously, we bet there is alot of people out there that sees this that felt the same way that we here feel when we saw this for the first time. It’s just that we know that the price for this…might turn alot of people off…because well… the asking price is really insane here.

But then again you do get a beautiful PG Gramps…so it’s not THAT bad.

Not to mention a pretty badass looking boxart as well

Finally, a proper hangar made for ALL PG KIT’s

We are sure that this announcement is something that excites most of PG owners out there.

Why wouldn’t they be? Because now they are FINALLY getting the excellently designed PG GP-01/Fb’s MS Hangar to be released as a separate standalone release. Which here feel is great news to those PG kit owners that have been waiting for Bandai to release something useful to display their awesome PG kits with.

I’m sure this is what most PG owners look forward to getting from the Gundam Base

But it is not just a rack system where you would just have space for your main kit in, because you as well have alot of mounts and space to display all its badass weapons and equipment here on this badass MS Hangar. What’s more, it is as well could as well be used for the HG, RG, RE100 and MG line-up.

Although, if we were, to be honest here? This MS Hangar doesn’t look as good on smaller scaled kits compared to the 1/60 scale that it was meant to be used on. Why? Well, one of the reasons is because if you are using it on smaller scaled kits you can’t use all the other awesome stuff that it had due to the difference of scale and not to mention, for smaller scaled kits, there are definitely better looking and better suited MS Hangars that as designed for specifically for them, so why bother getting this?

So yeah, just get this if you have a PG kit, yah?

Seriously it only looks good on a PG kit like we see here with the PG Gramps

But we here do find it quite sad to know that this limited as a Gundam Base release, which means it is a bit of a pain to get. Yes, we do prefer to see it getting a wider international release, but truth to be told? We are here just glad to see it being released at all. At least now all them PG owners would have something awesome to display their awesome kits with.

With that concludes today’s 186th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of this P-Bandai Gunpla release announcement? Are you looking forward to this one particular P-Bandai Gunpla release? Even though there are alot more releases (which are mostly just some more re-releases) that was made, we here just find these three to be the most interesting kits that was announced and that’s about it.

Which means there will not be a part 2 of this, but it doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything that we haven’t slotted for the upcoming segment, haha. Because it seems like the P-Bandai side has a new release announcement that we here do find to be quite interesting.

Anyways, we will be back again with more new gunpla related posts next week. So do look forward to that!
