I had a pretty good RG building progress.
Yes, from reading the sentence above, it’s clear that I had a splendid time working on the RG Eva-01.
Why wouldn’t I’d be? It has been quite a while since I’ve worked on non-Gundam related mecha plamo, and to finally worked on one does put a smile on my dumb face.
But enough of my rants here, let us go through my progress of the RG Eva-01 one by one, so you’ll understand what I feel about the kit as a whole, shall we?
It all started with this particular part. Because coming in, I was a bit skeptical about this RG kit. Even though I heard so many positive things about it, there is some part of me that does wonder I this RG kit is as good as I heard it to be. Funnily enough, it was. I realized this when I started working on the RG Eva-01’s Main Body unit, because I do find the kit to be quite fun and as well quite unconventional. This section has proven to be quite tricky to get right, and not to mention this is not something that one can just simply rush in. Yes, I had alot of fun working on this section indeed.
I had so much fun working on the kit that I completely forget to take any pictures of the completed chest unit (not to mention I as well didn’t have any more space on the phone too) so, I decided to just take this one picture of the head unit. Even then, I found that the RG Eva-01 head unit is a joy to work on, not to mention just like the rest of the RG Eva-01 that I’ve worked on, it was quite different. Definitely, something that I’m not accustomed to building.
So far my experiences with the RG Eva-01 has been quite positive, I have had alot of fun working on this, and from the looks of it, I have a strong feeling that it’s going to keep getting better.
I hope that my progress will go on uninterrupted, and may my experience with it continues to be a good one.
Now with that said, it is time for me to go back to building the RG Eva-01.
