The kind of Pirate that you want to have in your house
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 241st edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking a look at one recent P-Bandai’s Metal Build mecha figure release announcement. Yes, we are aware of the two new P-Bandai Gunpla releases, but we do want to spend time talking about this one instead.
It is one that we’re most excited about than the other two P-Bandai releases.
So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

The most badass version of the Crossbone finally arrives as a Metal Build release.
After the release of the standard version (with its Badass mecha parrot), inevitably, we know that we would eventually get this version of the Crossbone released.
So to finally see this now, well, we admit it was nice to finally get to see this version of the Metal Build Crossbone Gundam announced. Especially considering that 2020 hasn’t been the best year for all of us, so yes, seeing this announcement does bring a smile to our faces.
But even with that said, why wouldn’t we be?
Yes, why wouldn’t you want this version?
For something that looks this good, we can’t imagine it making anyone not being as taken as we are after looking at it. Although, we can’t help to feel like, after spending time analyzing this version of the Metal Build Crossbone variant, that this version looks a lot better when compared to the standard version of the same Metal Build mecha figure. You might be thinking right after reading our earlier statement here that we are talking about its badass ‘Full Cloth’ equipment, well, if we were, to be honest? You are both right and wrong here.
Yes, the Metal Build Crossbone X1 Full Cloth’s ‘Full Cloth’ equipment is without a doubt, does look quite impressive overall, and we do think that the design of the Peacock Smasher for the Metal Build Crossbone X1 Full Cloth does look quite badass here. But it’s the actual design of the Crossbone X1 itself is the one that we here find to be one of the most impressive bits of this particular variant.
It should be noted that Bandai as well added blades on the Crossbones Full Cloth equipment, which does make it look even more of a badass
Yes, it still retains many of the same characteristics of the standard version here. But what makes this version a bit different is that there are a few changes made to the chest crest and its overall color scheme that does make this look alot more of a badass than its standard version counterpart.
We all here are quite impressed by this version of the Metal Build Crossbone X1, and to be honest? We would love to be able to preorder this badass mecha figure. It’s just unfortunate that we currently found ourselves in a quite financially challenging situation at the moment.
Well at the very least I could still see it in our dreams, so it ain’t all that bad
Anyways, that concludes our 241st edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. It is nice to be able to spend all of our time discussing and staring at this beautiful piece of metal art. Even though we might not be able to get this, now, however, staring at the pictures alone was enough to make our COVID-induced depression hurt a little less.
Anyways, we will be back again this coming Saturday (hopefully) with more Gunpla/ Gundam merch related posts for this blog. So do look forward to that :D!
