A shiny Gundam for a new year

HELLO! We are back! 

In today’s 259th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla Segment, we will again be looking at one of The Gundam Base Gunpla releases. Yes, we were supposed to be taking the time to talk about two of the releases in today’s segment, but we are writing this on new years eve, and some of us have plans laid out for today. We thought, why not we focus on talking about one of The Gundam Base Gunpla releases?

So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

MG 1/100 OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon EW Ver.[Special Coating] (MG)

We were never a fan of the Epyon MS design. However, we would admit that the new EW redesign of the Epyon does look pretty awesome. It looked so good that even non-fans like us started to reconsider getting this and giving this MG kit a go.

So yeah, you can say that after seeing the ‘coated’ variant of this, we are pretty freaking excited with the thought of owning this badass MG kit. 

Especially when it looked this good, it would be insane of us if we ever think of giving this one a pass.

Yes, it may not have anything particularly new added in besides its color scheme. But it is enough to make all of us wish we would have enough money to own this badass MG kit. 

Yes, unfortunately enough, the only thing that would turn us all off in getting this badass piece of plastic is because the asking price for this MG kit is pretty steep. Priced at JPY 8,000, we can imagine that getting this can be a bit of a challenge to justify getting. Especially considering that all you really get here is just a new paint job.

But somehow, we admit that even with the MG kit priced this steep, we are still reconsidering saving up to get this The Gundam Base MG kit. 

Or maybe we should stick with the idea of getting the regular retail variant.

Anyways, that concludes our 259th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. As we go into the new year, it is nice to spend time with friends talking about Gunplas and all the kits we are looking forward to next year.  

From the looks of it, we may be looking at a pretty good Gunpla kit line up for the 1st half of 2021. We do hope that we would see a much stronger release lineup all the way through the rest of the year. 

So we all here could spend all of our waking time talking about them, haha. 

Anyways, we will be back again the next coming Tuesday (hopefully) with more Gunpla/ Gundam merch related posts for this blog. Yes, We will be taking another Saturday off from blogging to spend more time with the family before we are back working, and we as well wanted to have more time to focus on working on our current WIP’s. But we will definitely be back, so do look forward to that!
