Let’s Talk Gunpla Vol.268

The beautiful shiny geese

HELLO! We are back!

In today’s 268th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking the time to talk about one of the P-Bandai recent Gunpla release announcements that we missed. The one recent P-Bandai Gunpla release announcement we think that’s very shiny and white.

So, without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?

RG 1/144 OZ-00MS2B Tallgeese III [Titanium Finish] (RG)

Release Date: June 2021
Estimated price: JPY 7,700 (MYR RM 297.31* / USD $ 73.55* / EUR € 60.59*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

With the release of the regular P-Bandai Tallgeese III variant back in July 2019, it makes sense that we would eventually be seeing this version of the RG Tallgeese III down the road. Although, we are quite surprised that it took P-Bandai this long to announce this version of the RG Tallgeese III. Usually, the Titanium version would be announced and released in a mere few months after the standard variant’s release. But this version took P-Bandai a whole year for them to finally reveal the release date for this.

But that is not the only thing that we find ourselves to be surprised about here. Because quite frankly, we are also quite surprised to see that this Titanium coated kit gets that P-Bandai treatment. We honestly thought that Gundam Base usually releases coated Gunpla kits like these, not P-Bandai.

But then again, if we were to look back at all P-Bandai’s release history, all these Titanium coated kits almost always see P-Bandai release. Maybe only for Titanium coated Gunpla kits they get that special P-Bandai treatment?

Regardless, as we spend time staring at this, we admit that the Titanium Finish RG Tallgeese III does look pretty fricking sweet. Even though there isn’t anything particularly new done to the RG Tallgeese III besides the new paint job that this kit gets. But it was enough to make all of us here want to get this beautiful piece of Titanium coated P-Bandai plastic.

Quite frankly, we are quite excited about this one. However, it might be one of those P-Bandai kits that we’ll get that would forever be something that we store in our backlogs.

Why?

Well, that’s because we would be too afraid to work on them and ruin all that beautiful coated parts. That’s why.

Anyways, that concludes our 268th edition of the Let’s Talk Gunpla segment. Finally, we managed to cover both of the latest P-Bandai Gunpla announcements. Maybe now we can shift our focus on talking about the new P-Bandai Robot spirits release that we think is quite badass on the next upcoming Let’s Talk Gundam Merch segment. Which most definitely will be coming in the coming Tuesday (hopefully) segment. So, do look forward to that!
