Blub, blub and blub
HELLO! We are back!
In today’s 120th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment, we will be taking the time to really take a closer look at some of the MOST badass looking P-Bandai kits that was just recently announced.
It’s definitely, one news that our financial advisers hate to hear, and yes this is not an E-Toro ad.
So without further ado, let us get into it, shall we?
HG 1/144 RX-124 Gundam TR-6 [Haze’n-thley II] (HGUC)

Release Date: 2019/12
Estimated price: JPY 4,840* (MYR RM 190.40* / USD $ 45.46* / EUR € 41.04*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

When we saw the price…we had to recheck if we are actually looking at an MG kit or a RE100 kit. Because the 4,000 yen mark usually is reserved for the normal-sized MG or RE100 kits. We never in our wildest dreams would be seeing this price point to ever be given to a normal-sized HG kit. Even the RG’s struggle to get to the 4,000 yen mark unless if they are coated.
So when we saw this for the first time we all wondered why is this normal-sized kit so bloody expensive, since there is really nothing that we can see here to justify getting it at that insane price for something that looks like a bulkier woundwort.
However, only after taking a closer look at this, we all realized why this HG kit is so bloody expensive. Because despite its looks, this…really isn’t a small kit. In fact, it is safe to say that this kit can be put under the same size bracket as the Psycho Gundam or the Psycho GM area.
You might be wondering, how did we notice that this is not a normal-sized kit? Well, that is because we saw the picture below.

Yes, it was so big and tall, that it needed its own stand to keep it standing up, and this is by far the first HG kit that we see this year that looks even bigger than the stand that it’s included with. Which we as well admit, justifies its insane price point as well.
We as well noticed from what we can see here with this MASSIVE HG Advance of Z kit, is that most of the parts that are used here are most definitely a new mold. There is really nothing that we see here actually looked like anything that we’ve seen coming from this particular HGUC lineup.

Not content with just having this HG kit come with only the MS mode, the P-Bandai chaps as well made it so that the kit can be transformed into the HUGE MA mode or into smaller cute MA modes as well. Which does make an already awesome ‘only in a pipe dream’ kind of kit in our eyes, into something of ‘I’m dedicating all of my waking hours into getting it’ kind of kit for all of us here.
Although, we do admit that all of us here really can’t imagine its retail going price when it reaches your local store…because if the HGUC Haze’n-thley II is already listed at this price now, we wouldn’t be surprised if it would be priced at a point where it would be really hard for one to justify getting it.

But does that would deter us from getting this when we do finally see it here?
NOPE, because we have already decided that this is going to be our reason for living. There is not a better HG Plastic kit to dedicate our lives into getting than this…
ALL HAIL THE GREAT HGUC HAZE’N-THLEY II!

RE100 1/100 XM-07G Vigna-Zirah (RE100)

Release Date: 2019/11
Estimated price: JPY 4,400* (MYR RM 173.09* / USD $ 41.33* / EUR € 37.31*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

After the release of the RE100 Vigna-Ghina II recently, it is not shocking to us to see this version to finally see the light of day as a P-Bandai release. Because it wasn’t something that requires alot of changes to be made to the Vigna Ghina II to convert it into the Vigna-Zirah.
Heck, we wouldn’t be that surprised if someone tells me that both the Vigna-Ghina II and the Vigna-Zirah is actually the same MS.
So in a way what we are trying to say here is that to those that are already quite familiar with building the RE100 Vigina-Ghina II recently, you will find that there is alot of very familiar-looking recolored parts here. Hahaha.

Even with that said, the RE100 Vigna-Zirah does look like it has a lot of new parts included in the kit, like 2 new head molds and shoulder armors. A new waist unit and a slightly ‘updated’ look to its VSBR system and leg units.
Although we can’t help to feel like when looking at this, that the RE100 Vigna-Zirah’s head unit really looks like a Jegan head unit and even though you can swap it into the ‘gundam’ style head, we still prefer to see the kit in its Jegan head more then that ugly ‘Gundam’ styled head. Plus looking at that does make us imagine how a Char piloted Jegan would look like if he was using one.

We do hope that Bandai would continue on releasing more of the badass looking Crossbone Vanguard MS’s into an official release. It would really be a shame if these badass kits don’t see the ‘official’ light of day.
We really want to see the Berga Giros or the Den’an Zon to be released as an HG or an MG kit. It would really be nice to see all of them awesome pirate MS again.
MG 1/100 Gundam F90 Mission Pack F Type and M Type Expansion Set (MG)

Release Date: 2019/11
Estimated price: JPY 2,200* (MYR RM 86.54* / USD $ 20.66* / EUR € 18.65*)
*The price is subject to change, depending on the situation

Frankly, when it was announced that P-Bandai would be handling the MG Gundam F90 A to Z project, we quite worried that P-Bandai wouldn’t be able to keep on the momentum of releasing/announcing more expansion set for the recently released MG Gundam F90.
But we are all proven wrong this week because we are now seeing P-Bandai announcing more expansion set for the MG Gundam F90 and this time around we would see them announcing the Mission Pack F type and M Type which would be coming to us all in this coming November!

What’s more, we are as well happy to report that the expansion pack that is included here, does look quite good. Especially the F type. Because looking at how the attachments work on this, we all can’t help to be reminded of the O when we saw the ‘extra’ arm attachments.
Even the M type attachments (which we are not a fan of) look really good here. Looking at it you can really imagine that this is really a piece of equipment that is used for Marine operations.

We are really digging this new batch of attachment made for the MG F90 and looking at how badass the design for both type F and type M is and as well the previous attachments that we’ve seen, we have a feeling we would be seeing more attachment goodness for the MG F90 coming to P-Bandai soon.

With that concludes today’s 120th edition of our Let’s Talk Gunpla segment! What do you think of this week’s P-Bandai’s release announcements? Are you looking forward to this batch of upcoming P-Bandai kit releases? We are quite excited for both the P-Bandai’s HG and MG offerings this time around.
Although we are quite well taken by how badass the HGUC Haze’n-thley looked. We are frankly more excited about that than any of the others that we’ve seen announced this week here.
Anyways, we will be back again with more gunpla news on the next coming Wednesday and as well on the next coming Friday! Kimi will be back again in this Monday with an Unboxing of a very interesting MG kit. So do look forward to that!
